Averaging Method for LES -- CFD Online Discussion Forums

Kim Guest Posts: n/a	Hi~ All, I'm beginner of LES calculation. For LES Calculation, I know that Instantaneous Velocity = Grid scale Velocity + Sub grid Scale Velocity (Filtered Velocity) Most of paper for LES, some comparisons are presented with averaging flow field data. (1) I wonder which averaging method are applied to LES calculation, and I want to know that. (2) Then, how can average for unsteady flow ? I'll waiting for your answer~~ best regards~
