Momentum-Continuity Coefficients using SIMPLE

Dear All,

I've seen in some flow solvers using simple algorithm to couple pressure and velocity, that the coefficients for the continuity equation are the inverse pole coefficients of the momentum equation in the following way:

Momentum: MCOEFF(CELL)=sum(i=1,6)COEFF(neighbours)+Source

Continuity: CCOEFF(CELL)=2*MCOEFF(neighbour)*MCOEFF(CELL)/(MCOEFF(neighbour)+MCOEFF(cell))

I'd like to ask you, if this is correct (taking the source terms from Momentum equation into account for determining the coefficient for the Continuity equation).

best regards
