References for Two Phase Flow

Hi,

Can anyone give me references for simulation of two-phase bubbly flow using the two-fluid model and the SIMPLE(SIMPLEC, SIMPLER, PISO etc) algorithm?. Does anyone know the two-phase bubbly flow can be solved by the SIMPLE algorithm when one uses the two-fluid model?

Thank you in advance.

Re: References for Two Phase Flow

This reference simulates several cases using the SIMPLEST-based IPSA algorithm for an Eulerian-Eulerian description of two-phase bubble flow in liquids.

Boisson N & Malin MR. Numerical prediction of two-phase flow in bubble columns, International Journal for Numerical Methods in Fluids, Vol. 23, pp 1289-1310, 1996 1996.

There are many other references making use of this algorithm, and a lot of work was done by Lahey and others at Rensselaer Polytechnic, e.g.

Lahey RT The analysis of phase separation and phase distribution phenomena using two-fluid models Nuclear Engineering and Design 122, pp 17-40. Elsevier Publishers BV 1990.
