Default negative pressure

Hello everyone.

I am using a in-house TVD Euler code to solve a 2D shock refraction problem.

I found in some case the code overflows due to a negative pressure generated somewhere in the flowfield.

Is this negative pressure resulted from some kind of over-expansion? Does anyone encounter a similar problem?

Thanks.

Ma
