codes in astronomy themes

I am a beginner in CFD. I need information about codes in astronomy in order to do a simulation about Planetary nebulae. Thanks colaboration

Ola Maria,

I know there are plenty of Astrophysicists in Spain and there are plenty of codes going around in the world in Astrophysics. All depends on what do you want to simulate. There are so many things going on in Planetary Nebulae (radiation, magnetic field, ...) so that I am not sure exactly what you mean (also how many dimensions do you want to consider 1D, 2D, 3D?). I can also ask a friend who works in Planetary Nebulae to see if he knows about codes in PN. Myself I work on accretion disks and the proto-planetary nebula (quite different than planetary nebula) and accreting white dwarfs. You can email me personnaly at godon@stsci.edu

cheers, Patrick
