I want to use Lam-Bremhorst method for low Reynolds number of K epsilon model. but I dont know well about wall boundary conditions for k and epsilon and how to do that. Do you know any good source literature for Lam-Bremhorst method?

Have a look into the book of "Wilcox: Turb. Modelling in CFD" or "Griebel, Dornseifer, Neunhoeffer: Numierical Simulation in Fluid Dynamics, A Practical Intro."

Best regards Matthias

"Turbuelnce Models for Near-Wall and Low-Reynolds Number Flows : A Review" - V. C. Patel, W. Rodi and G. Scheuer - AIAA journal vol 23 no 9 - Oct 1984 - gives a good introduction for low Reynolds number k-epsilon models and introduces equations and boundary conditions.

Thank you for your reply. I have asked my university to buy wilcox book. I know it will take a long time for university to buy it. do you have following famous paper? Launder, B.E. and Spalding, D.B. (1974) "The numerical computation of turbulent flows", Computer mehods for applied mechanics and engineering, 3, pp 269-289

Thank you

Thank you for your reply. I have reviewed the paper you told. but still I cannt understand boundary conditions for k epsilon method. do you have following famous paper? Launder, B.E. and Spalding, D.B. (1974) "The numerical computation of turbulent flows", Computer mehods for applied mechanics and engineering, 3, pp 269-289. we dont have this paper in our library and I ordered it by my university. but it takes a long time for university to give it to me.

Thank you

About the historical paper, I've read it but don't have it.

About BC, it seems to me, from the Patel paper :

LB model

k_wall = 0

Epsilon_wall = nu*d^2k/dy^2 (Dirichlet but unstable)

or LB1 model

k_wall = 0

dEpsilon/dy = 0 at wall (Neumann)

Hop that helps
