K-epsilon

In K-epsilon turbulent method. is number of unkwoun k less than unkwoun of pressure in a domain? for example if we have n cells then we dont know n pressure. how many unkwoun we have for k? is it n minus number of points in boundaries?the mesh is staggered. Thank you
