Which Turbulence model to be used?

Hello!

Would anybody summarize me, which turbulence model to use in several problems?

In case of the high Reynolds-number flows the k-epsilon or k-omega model is suitable?

Gratitude: LEGO

Hi,

It would be helpful if you outline the cases you wish to simulate. In general I believe the most accurate RANS turbulence models for a wide range of flows are the V2F developed by Prof. P. Durbin (Stanford) and the Wilcox K-Omega model. (+ I beleive there have been a few advance proposed on this model lately). If you are using a commercial CFD package you will probably be limited the one of the turb models in the code (unless you wish to implement one yourself?).
