Hello! This is the first time I come here. I'm a college student. Now I'm trying hard to solve magneto hydro dynamics partial differential equations, but I find it very hard to get code on this problem which I can learn from .Is there anyone that can help me?I'd like to give my thanks in advance.

try to search along this thread: http://capella.colorado.edu/~laney/softastro.htm.

By the way, if you are a new comer of CMHD, you may following these two steps: 1) solve a simple PDE. 2) solve a simple PDE systems 3) Solve your MHD PDEs.

And it is usually easier to write your code than to read others' code.

Thank you for your advice. It's true that I'm a new comer,I thought it might be easier to learn from others' code. But you're right,it's long time work ,should be completed step by step. By the way,can you offer further suggestions such as good books or web sites for us beginners?

There is a thread about the free code in this forum. These codes are coming from the book of Ferziger and Peric. Try to search them.

perhaps your problem can be accomplished by ANSYS!

I hear that when solving a problem using Ansys,we must construct the model by picture it,but now I just get 4 equations to solve. My advisor told me that it is a completely computer-programming problem,if only I can find the source code. But as I worked on,I found solving liquid metal MHD equations is much more like a physical analysis process than a mathematical analysis process.Thank you for your advice .
