help on uite of convention
Hi, everybody,

I know that in water 1ppm=1g/m3H2O. But how is ppm apply to gas concentration measurement? Is ppm refering to mass ratio or volumn ratio? I have done some calculation, for temp = 302.15 K in air. if ppm is mass ratio, 1ppm = 1.160 mg/m3 Air if ppm is volumn ratio, 1ppm = 0.04021 * Molec. Weight mg/m3. Which of the statement above is correct? Thanks a lot for helping.
