Aeroacoustics
I'm going to use a commercial code to solve aeroacoustic problems. Therefore I need some simple test problems in aeroacoustics to evaluate this code. Do anyone know where you can find such test problems?

Re: Aeroacoustics
I am currently reviewing the "Second Computational Aeroacoustics (CAA) Workshop on Benchmark Problems", Edited by Tam & Hardin, NASA Conference Publication 3352, June 1997 (380 pages).
There may also be a later workshop, but I have not looked into it yet. |
Re: Aeroacoustics
Axel is right. There was a third workshop. The proceedings can be obtained from the NASA Glenn Site using the following url:
http://gltrs.grc.nasa.gov/reports/20...000-209790.pdf There is also a hard copy that contains a CD with programs and data. Regards, Patrick Hanley, Ph.D. Aerodynamics Software http://www.hanleyinnovations.com |
Re: Aeroacoustics
For those of you new to aeroacoustics, like myself, I just found a cool site that explains all the basic terms used in acoustics,

Re: Aeroacoustics
Dear Dr. Hanley
I am going to develop a code for CEM & Acoustics problems based on pseudospectral method. I need some simple test problems in acoustics to evaluate mycode. Do you know where NASA CP3300 report is? Is it free to download? |
