Combusting Two Phase Flow

I am solving combusting two phase flow (solid fuel combustion) using variable property flow. i am having difficulty in obtaining convergence. I am using two fluid model for simulating the two phase flow. Any suggestions regarding developing convergence strategy will be highly appreciated

Refer to the following article:

"Convergence Behavior For Numerical Calculations By the Euler/Lagrange Method for Strongly Coupled Phases" Gangolf Kohnen, Michael Ruger, and Martin Sommerfeld

Numerical Method in Multiphaae Flows 1994

This is an ASME document with a number of FED-Vol. 185

This article talks about how to evaluate when you are converged using a statistical approach.

Good luck,
