conjugate heat tranfer

dear sir, i am solving a conjugate heat tranfer prolem in 3D...the main problem is in the air and solid inter face...i am basically directly solving the whole prolem...would u suggect proper boundary condition so that the prolem is converged??pressure convergence is also a big problem

Re: conjugate heat tranfer

1) the y+ of the grid near the air/solid interface should be equal or smaller than 1.

2) you can try a smaller starting CFL number at the beginning.

3) you can try a Euler calcualtion before the tubulent calculation.
