Preconditioning

Hi all,

is anybody studying on preconditioning techniques for Euler or NS equations? I'd like to hear about which methods you use and applications you work on..

greetings,

seckin

Re: Preconditioning

I have applied precondition method on my 2-D unstructured grids as Turkle said. Although it runs fine for Ma=0.01 or even lower, I find it not so good in high speed, and I haven't try the heat conduct problem!

Re: Preconditioning

thanks for the reply. I am working on a 2-D Euler code by Muradoglu whom has developed a new preconditioning method that works for various speeds. You can check that if you want. I am trying to apply Turkel's and Van Leer's methods at the moment.

regards,

seckin

Can you tell me how can I find the paper on the method you metioned!
