I am using FLUENT/UNS for CFD-calculations in the area of electronic cooling equipment and climate control in vehicles.
I would like to validate this code for this type of fluid flow, therefore I am looking for good benchmark cases with experimentell results available or in second hand a well dokumented analytical solution. If requested I am willing to pay for copies of extensive and well dokumented reports. telephone: +46 586 81287 faximile: +46 586 85882 |

Based on my previous experience, uniform tri/ or hybird quad/ mesh on the wall is essential for consistent wall heat transfer calculation. Non-uniform tri/ mesh on the wall will give you non-consistent results, unless all the wall mesh sizes are very small and inside the linear sublayer region. (assuming that the low Re two-layer model is used)
