dear anybody know of command to calculate numebr of floating point operations done in a code. how do you estimate speed of yor code in a supercomputer. bye student

Profiling of codes on supercomputers is normally done by using the appropriate compiler flags and/or profiling utilities which are part of the system software.

Thus, you have to consult the compiler handbooks where you will find the necessary information.

now i was using is there any command which gives you number of flops carried in your numerical code. bye stuudent
