Does anybody know of some useful reference material which instructs in techniques for creating meshes. I am interested in any sort of media.

An excellent book is published by CRC Press, "Handbook of Grid Generation," J.F. Thompson, B.K. Soni, and N.P. Weatherill, editors.
Text covers all aspects of grid generation, including structured and unstructured grids, overset grids, surface topology, and grid adaptivity. |

thanks for those books, I am ideally looking for a guide as to how to go about meshing geometry using automated meshers, how to split volumes so that the resulting meshes do not have excessive skew etc both for structured and unstructured grids. I am hoping to find some information which can be applied without a lot of reference to the numerics of the grid generation.
