How to solve the problem with the moving boundary?
Moving mesh? Or other method

Re: How to solve the problem with the moving bound
Is the boundary known or unknown? If it's known, I guess it's easier, otherwise, it's a big research area, you can find a lot of related papers.

ALE (Arbitrary Lagrangian-Eularian) Method is the one that I used

Can you give me some reference paper,I can't find the most important paper, because I want to get the deep thought of it

Re: How to solve the problem with the moving bound
Check our website www.mcube.fr there are several papers in the publication section dealing with ALE problems and giving references. It is also briefly explained how ALE works in in the M-Explicit code description section.

Re: How to solve the problem with the moving bound
Valmor Fernandes de Almeida published one parper talking about domain deformation method. Don't remember which journal he published.
At hand, I have two papers related with free surface flow written by P.R. Schunk and R. R. Rao and .... The journals are International journal for numerical methods in fluids, 2000, 33:375-403 Journal of computational physics 125, 83-103(1996) |
