Hi,I have got the pressure contour of the flow over NACA0012.In my computation,I use the standard k-e model along with the one-eqution model in the near wall region. However I don't know if my calculation is reliable. So I want to find some samples on the internet to have a comparison with what I have got.I don't know where can I find this kind of sample.I have tried to search on the Internet, but failed to find the samples about pressure contour.Give me a hand,please.thanks. maximus

Dear Sir; I have allready developed a 2-d code for my ms project, using baldwin-lomax model, roe flux splitting and about a dozen of interpolation and solving methods Besides my paper has been accepted too.So if you want send me your test case(B.C) and I wiil send you my results. For example angle of attack,Mach number, viscosity and whatever you may thinh its useful. Also it's important to compare the Cp with experimental data and not the contors itself. For example Cp=(p-Patm)/(0.5*u*u*den) In turbomachinery u is chosen as internal velocity in axial direction. So I say it again try to compare Cp. In the end a comparision with Fluent can give you many hints.

Dear orojian: Thanks a lot for your reply.I am a new to CFD,and I think What you said is very insightful. It's really the most important thing to compare my results with the experimental results.Howerver, I have no experimental rusults at hand, and my code is still in the developing stage,so I want to compare my pressure contours first. If I find it inconsistent with the sample,I will check my model and code. Therefore,I am very grateful if you can send me your results from your code.I have sent my B.C to you. Please check your mailbox.Best regards. Maximus

There is good Cp data in both of these reports which can be compared with the NACA0012.

J.J Thibert, M. Grandjacques, and L.H. Oham, "NACA 0012 Airfoil", AGARD Advisory Report, 1979.

N. Gregory and O.L. O'Reilly, "Low Speed Aerodynamic Characteristics of NACA0012 Airfoil Section, Including the Effects of Upper Surface Roughness Simulation Hoarfrost", NPL Aero Report 1308, National Physical Laboratory 1970.
