Chemical reactors
 

I am a novice with respect to CFD but would like to gather information about CFD modelling of a chemical reactor consisting of a packed bed of short cylindrical catalyst pellets.

Can anyone direct me to a website / publication / papers to give me more info on this?

I think you can contact to Dr. Yazid Bindar from Institut Teknologi Bandung, Indonesia (E-mail: yazid@che.itb.ac.id). He has conducted the CFD simulation for packed bed reactor especially for tracking the hostpot phenomena.... Regards from Istadi to Dr. Yazid... Best wishes
