What is the definition of convective waves? & what is the difference between convective waves and acoustic waves?

I think convective wave is simply the move along the trajectory , e.g. \lambda = u + a(X)!

Convective waves are those travelling at the local fluid speed (u). Acoustic waves travel at the local sound speed RELATIVE to a fluid element. Refered to some other frame they travel at a speed of |u|+a.
