You probably mean Phoenics. It was one of the first general purpouse CFD codes, developed by Prof Spalding and his co-workers at CHAM (Concentration, Heat and Momentum Ltd). They might distribute older versions as shareware, one very old version even includes source code. You can find further information at their web site located at http://www.cham.co.uk.
