what is the best meshing software to be used with fluent

Whatever YOU are used to is the best for YOU. I do not think there is #1 mesher for every one.

There could be three things to consider when you are choosing mesher.

1. COST 2. TIME 3. ACCURACY

1. Since you are using fluent, gabmit might be cost effective.

2. If you are concerned about time to meshing wih gambit, you could buy a new stand-alone mesher. Any meshers comes with solvers are junks compared wih other preprocessors. So crude, so time consuming.

3. If the results you got is not within your target due to the quality of mesh, spend more time on meshing.

By the way, mesher does not matter much for most of the cases, but meshing does once your solver can deliver less than 10% accuracy.

Otherwise, I do not see any difference in mesher.
