I have an fe surface mesh file given as a list of points (x1,y1,z1;x2,y2,z2;...) and then element triangle vertices (corner_1_1,corner_1_2,corner_1,3;...). I'm trying to view this data and convert to an iges file. Please help me with the following: 1. what software will enable me to view the existing surface mesh? (freeware or comercial) 2. how can I convert the surface mesh to a surface file that can be imported into a 3d mesher (iges, neutral, etc.) 3. can anyone suggest a good resource to bring me up to speed with respect to graphic file types and conversions to meshes.
Thanks for any and all help, worth |
