Needed Benchmark Problems for FSI
 

Hi,

I am trying to solve FSI problems using MFX coupling (2 way) provided in Ansys. I have already solved the tutorial example. Now, I want to solve some good benchmark problems (not very complex) in order to ensure that software results are fine. If thermal stress related problems are also solved then it would be better.

So, Please help me by suggesting references for some good 2-3 benchmark problems for FSI which may or may not involve thermal effects.

You can try simple cases of flexible beams in moving fluid. You might be able to find experimental data/ analytical solution for some simplified case. Also another option is flutter of wings.

there is no thermal stresses but te widely used bench mark in two way fsi is Agard445.6 wing, google it and you will find it
