non reflecting boundary condition -- CFD Online Discussion Forums

shantanuneema New Member Shantanu Join Date: Apr 2009 Posts: 1 Rep Power: 0	I am solving a resistance problem by moving ship in numerical wave tank. I get some transient waves in start which reflects back from the boundaries. I wish to avoid this problem. I tried with a damping layer formulation and it is not working so fine. Any comments ??.... Thanks guys
