Hi all,

People always show vorticity Iso-Surfaces for LES modeling. However Picking up different vorticity, you should get different shapes of vorticity Iso-Surface . Can someone please explain, what's the physical difference of the Iso-Surface for the larger and smaller vorticity.

For example, what physical phenomena can the contour of the smaller vorticity represents and what does the contour of larger vorticity represnts.

Thanks,
John
