Would you please recommend some good papers or books on combustion, acoustics, and the combustion-acoustics interaction? DNS or LES of combustion-acoustics interaction will be handled in my project. Thanks a lot for this.

The best reference would be: 1) "Theoretical and numerical combustion", Thierry Poinsot and Denis Veynante, R.T. Edwards publishing, 2001.

For turbulent reacting flows: 2) "Direct Numerical Simulation for Turbulent Reacting Flows", T. Baritaud, T. Poinsot, and M. Baum, (ed.), Technip, Paris, 1996.

In general, for DNS or LES of combustion, check the works of following people (there are a lot more):

1) Steven B. Pope, Mechanical Eng. Dept., Cornell University.

2) Peyman Givi, Mechanical Eng. Dept., Pittsburgh University.

3) Steven H. Frankel, Mechanical Eng. Dept., Purdue University.
