Default LES and EBU

Hi,

I am trying to test different sub-grid scale models for LES of reacting flows. Since I am focusing of the SGS model, I don't want to spend to much time computing the combustion. Therefore, I think that an eddy break-up model should be sufficient.

I know that the EBU constant(s) has to be adapted to the configuration: in my case a co-axial jet of H2/N2 into air. What EBU constant will be more appropriate? Is there any paper on similar configuration using RANS/LES and EBU?

Thanks for any help, Julien

I do not know if this will help You, but Said R. and Borgi R, 1988 A simulation with a "cellular automation" for turbulent combustion modelling 22nd symp. Int. on combustion 569-577.
