hey

doea anybody knows how to implement ADI using crank nicholson scheme for SYSTEM of equations. I can apply it on the simple scalar two dimensional case but am confused how to extend it to System of equations.

secondly then i need to include the crossderivative term in the equation..

thanks

You would need to solve a block tridiagonal system for system of equations. Check the CFD books by Hirsch or Kauffman for the details. You can also look for papers online which discuss it in detail for Navier-Stokes.
