More pressure
Hello,
Consider a flow between 2 parallel plates. If the distance between the plates is smaller(10 times) than the length and width, does the pressure depend on the direction of the flow? Thanx. |
Re: More pressure
sounds like you are describing planar pousille flow (forgive spelling). So yeah the pressure is a function of streamwise distance, and you would have streamwise developing flow.

Re: More pressure
Nope!

Re: More pressure
Yes you do have developing flow, but It shouldn't make any difference with regards to direction, unless I have got completely confused about the question!?

Re: More pressure
The problem description is a little confusing. If there is no streamwise pressure difference, there is no mechanism to drive the flow.
