More pressure

Hello,

Consider a flow between 2 parallel plates. If the distance between the plates is smaller(10 times) than the length and width, does the pressure depend on the direction of the flow?

Thanx.

sounds like you are describing planar pousille flow (forgive spelling). So yeah the pressure is a function of streamwise distance, and you would have streamwise developing flow.

Nope!

Yes you do have developing flow, but It shouldn't make any difference with regards to direction, unless I have got completely confused about the question!?

The problem description is a little confusing. If there is no streamwise pressure difference, there is no mechanism to drive the flow.
