Periodic Boundary Condition

All,

I'm doing 2D couette flow and want to set up periodic boundary conditions in fluent. I'm specifying dpdx rather than the mass flow rate, but for some reason when I plot the pressure, it looks like it's trying to match the pressures at the two ends rather than enforcing the pressure drop between the inlet and outlet. Any ideas?

Thanks.

As also stated in the user's guide, the part of the pressure that the simulation solves for is the periodic part. The linear variation from inlet to outlet is already considered and not shown in any plot. It just acts as a costant forcing term.
