Developing flow in channels benchmark
 

Can anyone point me where to find experimental data for developing channel flow (laminar and turbulent).

I was sure that this problem has been laid to rest long ago, but I just found a couple of papers published in 2002 which are trying to determine entrance length in a channel.

Anyone knows what's the real story there? Thx
