Hi,
I have simulated flow over a stationary cylinder using the immersed boundary method.I used feedback forcing schme with 4-point delta function. The no-slip boundary conditions are satisfying and the l2-norm error is of the order of 10e-4.but iam getting a high value of Cd.when i used a domain of 14dx7d with d=1 for Re=10 i got Cd=4.37.when i doubled the domain i got Cd=3.29.time step i used is 10e-3.Can anyone tell me what will be the problem.i computed Cd using the method prescribed by Peskin...adding all the momentum forcing values for the drag force and then using the wellknown cd formula..... Plse give a reply...... Thankig you all....... |
