elliptic transformation in 3D
 

Hey guys,

Could anyone tell me where to find the elliptic transformations in 3D? I know the 2D transformation and know how to work it out in 3D, but since the process is so tedious, I am scared that I might make some mistake. I plan to implement the 3D elliptic grid generation.

Also, how different is the elliptic smoothing from elliptic grid generation? How does one implement elliptic smoothing?

Is 3D elliptic grid generation really working? We have 2D elliptic grid generation, and in order to do my 3-D simulation I have to apply for another method because my advisor told me that elliptic grid generation doesn't work in 3-D.
