Renold is on a distinguished road

I want to simulate a constant volume premixed combustion in a closed straight channel using the equation of energy conservation. My idea is to specify \dot{q} for several time steps when the combustion occurs. Does anyone know how to do this? The fuel is propane.

Thank you.
