I know most of people are using hex meshes for LES modeling. I do not know if LES can also be used for terahedral meshes. I know when LES applied on the tets, the accuarcy will be reduced. If I have a very powerful computer, I think it still can be used for simple problems with complex shapes. I imagine that 12 tets be equivalent to 1 hex. Since LES is not very good for tets, k-e model can also be a quick solution. Thanks!
