references on fluid-structure interactions
 
Hi there,

I am working on the biomolecule/flow interaction problems, and would love to know some of the most important works in the numerical treatments of fluid-structure interactions such as papers, review and books, particular related to the following
question (maybe trivial)

Suppose that we are solving the deformation of an immersed structure, and suppose
that the system is governed by NSE and elasticity equation, regardless linear or nonlinear. Usually(?) we are solving these two equations by using some iterative
method. Then after one iteration we get new configuration of the structure, but then the flow field changes and the force on the structure changes also. We then use the NEW LOAD to solve a new deformation. I guess the NEW LOAD should be the net force betwen the new force and the old force, otherwise we will never end up with an
equivalent state. But then we have to track each mesh point on the structure and
save the force field at each step. And this is connected to Euler methods/Lagrange methods?

It would be helpful to have a look on most interesting problem of Flag Flutter( By L. Mahadevan). It will give some useful idea about Fluids structures Interaction problem.

I use the exact Riemann's solver between CFD (Tate eos) and CSD (Hook's law)
