Hi,

I'm trying to model the swirl of a flow through a cylinder. My geometry is quite complex but is invariant by rotation, therefore I would like to only model a wedge of the whole problem and exploit the geometric property.

I use ansys workbench and I can't find a way to set up the symmetry. Does anyone have some suggestions I could use?

I know how to use the symmetry property in ANSYS but my geometry is like the geometry of a compressor stator. I can't just make a wedge and define two symmetry planes. My problem is that I don't know how to set up a rotational periodicity.

Hope I made myself clear enough!
Thanks in advance for any help!
regards

Mat
