Boundary layer strategy for port flow case?
I need some advice on setting up boundary layers for an automotive port flow case. The case I'm working on now is an intake port. The inlet/outlet pressure differential is 6975 Pa. I'm using a realizable k-epsilon model and the case has about 3 million cells. Minimum cell size in the valve clearance area is .25 mm. Valve lift (2 valves) is 14 mm. Can someone please provide some guidance on how many prism layers to use and how to size them? Thank you for your time.
