Slot jet in crossflow

Hi,
I'm studying in slot jet in crossflow which can be simulated in 2D and I simulate with k-epsilon turbulence model. Crossflow is 3 cm/s and uniform velocity profile. Jet velocity is 30 cm/s. Slot jet width is 0.5 cm. I apply wall function for bottom boundary and normal gradient at outlet boundary. At top boundary is symmetry. I have problem with upstream distrance (before jet exit). This parameter has an effect to my result when I compare with experiment data. Anybody have experience about this problem. Thank you in advance

I would be interested in making a simulation comparison. Can you post your geometry and current results?

My geometry, upstream is in range 10-100D
downstream is 400D
crossflow channel height 240D
I compare my result by plotting jet trajectory at velocity ratio (jet/crossflow) 10. I have read many papers. Almost use upstream is not over than 12D but my result is near the experiment data at 100D.
