Dear forum members,
Which of the threee software packages is the best in terms of proce, software ability, easy of use and the quality of tech support? I am evaluating them for my company. The main application would be simulating mixing in commercial scale reactors, fluid behaviors in liquid filling machine and fluid behavior in syringe/needle system. Thanks a lot. |

Well, your list is quite restrictive.
WRAFTS is better than any of the three listed codes for the following reasons : 1) The free surface models in WRAFTS are excellent. 2) It is a true FEA program. You are not required to use the vendor's mesh generator. You can use whatever meshing software you have for structural FEA models. 3) Technical support is direct from the author of the code. 4) The price is lower than the codes you have listed. IMHO Respectfully, Gerald Backer www.wrafts.com |

Hello Backer,
What is the free surface modeling approach used in WRAFTS? I could not find any literature in the website. Could you kindly elaborate? Thanks, CFDtoy Quote:
