I am working on a model for colloidal particles in a laminar/incompressible flow. This involves calculating Van der Waals forces and Electric Double Layer forces between the particles surface and the wall. Of course, things tend to go to infinity at the wall. Currently I am dealing with that merely by placing a limit to the total force. Any thoughts on alternatives for this?
