Default flow around building

Hello everybody,

I am new to CFD and have to calculate the wind-flow around a building with LES. As a starting point I have a code that calculates the flow around a cubus.

To adjust the code, what do I have to change? Right know, I think, I have to scale the grid and change the boundary-inlet-condition.

For example the grid is length=9 heigt=2 width=7 and the cubus is placed in the middle with 1x1x1. Now I want to have a cubus/building which is e.g. 10x10x10. What do I have to consider when scaling this grid? Is there any literature about grid-generating for that kind of problem?

For the boundary-inlet-condition I would set a power law function for velocity. U/U0=(Z/Z0)**1.4. Are there any other ideas? Does anybody know, where I can find further information about the exponent and those bc for Germany/Hannover?

Thanks! Greetings
