fluid structure interaction open source softwares
 

hii all..

I am looking for an open source software which can handle free surface flows along with fluid structure interaction. I am looking at Elmerfem at this moment, but I am not sure if it can handle it. While I realise that I will definitely have to change the code to suit my problem, I am looking for a software where the amount of modification required would be least.

I was thus wondering if you guys could point me in the right direction, and point out the softwares which are most commonly used. I would be very grateful for your help.

OpenFoam can provide what you are looking for. There are papers published in FSI using openFoam and + its openSource !
