Drag calculation strange results

hi all!

I'm using Star-CCM+ to calculate the drag of an jet engine casing but I keep getting strange results. I've made windtunnel with a velocity inlet and pressure outlet in which the model sits on a symmetry plane. I've used the K-epsilon turbulence model. When I look al my force plot, I'm not getting a straight line at a certain drag (which I do get if I simulate a simple cylinder in the same windtunnel) but I'm getting a kind of sinus, at about zero. Also the residuals are not getting as small as with the cylinder, but leveling out at about 0.001. What am I doing wrong?

regards,

Iddel
