formula 1 Intake manifold - Air intake systems
 

Hi all,

I have been thinking about this question for some time now, hopefully someone can refer me to a decent explanation.

If you qualify an air intake system. what is important for engine performance:
the total pressure loss over the duct
the static pressure loss over the duct
or the ratio of these two?

nobody an answer on this?
