Default bottom and top surface of cylinder as seperate entities in grid generation(gambit)

how do we make sure that top and bottom side of the cylinder are seperate entites while using gambit.I'm solving it only for 2d visvcous flow...????

what is the problem? I can not fully understand your question.

2-D viscourse flow caculation, then you should use a axis-symmetry coorinate.
Top is the pipe wall, bottome is the axis, the other two are inlet and outlet, respectively.

well i have a cylinder in the computational domain as you specified....i have to make sure that the top side and the bottom side of the cylinder are seperate entities during the grid generation...how do i do that?????

you can define them different boundary name after the grid generation.

i think i have to first create them as two seperate entities...how do i do that...i cant define a different boundary name...
