Immersed Boundary Condition

Can someone suggest me a good reference book or paper which explains immersed boundary conditon well from the basics?

thanks much

You can search some papers in Journal of Computational Physics

could you refer me some if you already have in mind?

thanks in advance

Go directly to the source! The following is an easy read:

Go to one of the Acta Numerica papers. Enjoy!

Re: Immersed Boundary Condition

thanks Saverio. also, if you could share some thoughts on how to actually implement it in actual code, that would be of great help.

thanks much

Re: Immersed Boundary Condition

I don't understand what you mean by "how to implement it," but I am more than happy to help if you clarify your question.

Re: Immersed Boundary Condition

i ment, how to implement it in the code, assuming i am using a finite volume method.

thanks in advance.

Re: Immersed Boundary Condition

Still not quite understanding the question; I am unfamiliar with any hybrid schemes FVM/IB... I only have experience with IB as a stand-alone method. Sorry -

Re: Immersed Boundary Condition

let me put it this way, i went on to the site u indicated and found a document which explains what is IB, if you can share some document or some piece of code which shows how to implement it then it would be great.

thanks much
