Sloshing Problem methods.. .mesh motion and Source term

Hi all,

I am simulating tank sloshing problem in Fluent and OpenFoam both. In fluent I am adding a source term in tank motion direction and in openfoam I am using mesh motion. My results are quite different in both the case. But I would say results of openfoam seems to be right if I match these with observed experimental data.

Can someone say is it correct to substitute the motion with source term? if yes than what one can do to have more correct results?

Did you model the motion via source term? I mean changed the gravitational acceleration with time? For example in x direction? and if yes, how did you do that?
